Cline executes Ko-fi transaction lookups

Tell Cline to pull your latest shop sales or donations using `list_transactions`. It runs the request and presents the data for you to use in your next task. Because Cline is autonomous, it can parse these results to identify your top supporters or track daily revenue trends. It does the heavy lifting, you just verify the output.

Automated reporting with the Ko-fi MCP Server

Cline can take the output from `list_transactions` and build formatted reports or update your project's README file. It writes the necessary logic to transform raw API data into clear summaries. This workflow removes the manual steps of checking your dashboard. Cline manages the data flow so you can focus on building features.

Direct MCP Server access for Ko-fi data

Cline connects to the server to fetch live transaction feeds. You don't need to leave your VS Code window to see who supported you. It treats `list_transactions` as a native capability. Just ask for your recent orders, and the agent handles the rest.

Common questions about Ko-fi MCP in Cline

Open the Cline sidebar and navigate to the MCP Servers icon. You can add the server by URL in the Remote Servers tab or use the Marketplace tab for a quick install.
It can certainly help. Cline uses the `list_transactions` tool to fetch your data and then writes scripts to organize it for your tax or budget records.
Just make sure your auth token is set up correctly in your configuration file. Once that's done, Cline auto-discovers the tools.
The tool will return an error message to Cline. You should ask your agent to retry after a reasonable delay if you hit these limits.
Your transaction records, including donor names and donation amounts, stay within your local environment. Cline processes this data only to complete the specific tasks you assign.
