How to Use the Lago MCP in Cursor
Build billing logic into your code with Cursor. Let the AI write the implementation using live Lago tools.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Lago MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Lago to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Code billing logic using Cursor
The AI agent calls `create_plan` directly while you write your service code. It uses the actual API responses to help you structure your billing classes correctly. Stop guessing the schema. The agent sees the server response and suggests code that matches your live environment.
Sync users with Cursor agent mode
Trigger `upsert_customer` from your editor to register new users in your billing system. This keeps your local dev environment perfectly aligned with your production data. It’s faster than manual testing. Just let the agent run the tool, and your user record is updated in seconds.
Test event streams in Cursor
Run `send_event` from the chat panel to verify your instrumentation code. You get immediate feedback on whether your usage events hit the server as expected. It removes the need for external testing tools. Keep your entire workflow inside the editor while you build your metering logic.
