Connect LibraryThing MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect LibraryThing to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automated bibliographic lookups in Windsurf
Cascade uses `what_work` to identify book records and `get_work` to pull specific details like author data and member counts. It turns raw ISBNs into structured bibliographic entries without you leaving the editor. Your agent handles the sequence internally. It finds the work ID and queries the metadata immediately.
Check catalog depth for any ISBN
Feed an ISBN to `get_book_coverage` and get a clear score between 0 and 1. This tells your agent exactly how well-cataloged a specific edition is on the platform. It helps you filter out incomplete records before they enter your dataset. You get a reliable metric for data quality in every lookup.
Map editions with LibraryThing tools
Use `thing_isbn` to find every version of a work linked to a single identifier. It gathers paperback, hardcover, and international editions in one go. Cascade chains this with other tools to compare coverage across editions. You see the full list of available formats without manual searches.
