How to Use the LinkAce MCP in Cline
Cline takes control of your LinkAce archive. Automate bookmarking, tagging, and retrieval directly within VS Code.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect LinkAce MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect LinkAce to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline automates your bookmark workflow
Stop manually copying URLs into your dashboard. Tell Cline to archive a page, and it uses `create_new_bookmark` to store it with the right metadata immediately. The agent verifies the action once complete. You get a confirmation in the terminal that your resource is safely stored.
Search and fetch with LinkAce
When you need context, Cline hits the API to find it. It uses `search_bookmarks` to scan your entire archive for specific keywords relevant to your current task. It doesn't just show you a list. Cline pulls the details via `get_bookmark_details` so it can use the content to help you write code.
Full collection management for Cline
Organize your research as you go. Cline uses `list_all_collections` to see where your work belongs before adding new items. You maintain a structured archive without manual intervention. The agent keeps everything sorted based on your project requirements.
