How to Use the Linode (Akamai) MCP in Windsurf
Use Windsurf to spin up infrastructure and manage your Linode (Akamai) instances without leaving the editor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Linode (Akamai) MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Linode (Akamai) to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Full-stack Linode (Akamai) infrastructure management
Cascade handles your entire provisioning workflow by chaining calls to `create_linode` and `create_lke_cluster`. You describe the desired environment, and the agent executes the sequence to bring your stack online. It removes the need for manual configuration. Once your nodes are active, you can use `list_linodes` to verify status and `update_linode` to adjust settings in real-time.
Autonomous cluster and compute orchestration
Windsurf agents parse your requirements to manage complex Kubernetes setups through `list_lke_clusters` and `get_lke_cluster`. It handles the heavy lifting of state retrieval so you focus on the code. Everything stays within your IDE context. When you need to audit access, the agent calls `list_users` to confirm permissions without forcing you to switch tabs.
Direct account monitoring for your MCP Server
Monitor your resource usage and account standing using `get_account` directly from your chat window. It provides immediate insight into your current standing on the Linode (Akamai) platform. This keeps your infrastructure data alongside your project files. You get a clear view of your operational state without ever opening a browser.
