Sync ManyChat flows across your engineering team

Commit your MCP configuration to the repo so everyone on your team has access to the same tools. Use `send_flow` to execute consistent messaging actions across your development lifecycle. It ensures every dev is using the same definitions. You can list all available tags with `list_tags` to keep your team aligned on segmentation strategy.

Automate subscriber profile updates in VS Code

Use `set_custom_field` to programmatically update subscriber records based on your code logic. It’s perfect for syncing user database states with your messenger marketing. Your agent can also use `get_subscriber_info` to confirm changes were applied correctly. This gives your team a reliable way to manage customer data at scale.

Standardize subscriber segment management

Use `add_tag` and `remove_tag` to maintain clean segments across your team's workflows. You can audit current tags with `get_subscriber_tags` to verify your team's logic. It removes the need for ad-hoc manual updates. Your team can focus on building features while the tools handle the subscriber state management.

Setup guide

Set up ManyChat MCP in VS Code Copilot

Prerequisites

  • VS Code 1.99 or later with GitHub Copilot extension
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Open MCP configuration

Open the Command Palette (Cmd+Shift+P / Ctrl+Shift+P) and run "MCP: Add Server". Select HTTP (Streamable) as the server type. VS Code will create .vscode/mcp.json in your workspace.

  2. 2

    Add the ManyChat MCP

Paste the JSON snippet shown on the right into your .vscode/mcp.json. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your endpoint token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Switch to Agent mode

Open Copilot Chat (Cmd+Shift+I / Ctrl+Shift+I) and switch to Agent mode using the dropdown. MCP tools are only available in Agent mode — they do not appear in Edit or Ask modes.

  4. 4

    Verify the connection

In the Copilot Chat input, type # to list available tools. You should see the ManyChat tools listed. Try asking: "List my recent ManyChat transactions" and Copilot will invoke them automatically.
