Connect Mealie (Recipe Manager) MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Mealie (Recipe Manager) to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline executes recipe updates directly
Tell Cline to fix a recipe, and it performs `update_recipe` after reading the current version. It handles the logic so you don't have to navigate the UI. If you want to remove old entries, Cline runs `delete_recipe` safely. It checks the data first to ensure you aren't removing the wrong item.
Automated shopping lists in Cline
Cline manages your chores by calling `create_shopping_list` whenever you need a new one. It populates your list by reading your selected recipes. When you finish a task, Cline fires `toggle_shopping_list_item` to keep your status accurate. It tracks your progress while you write code.
Deep integration for Cline and Mealie
Cline indexes your kitchen by running `list_recipes` and `list_tags`. It builds a local context of your inventory before it starts any work. Whenever you need to create a new entry, it uses `create_recipe` with the metadata you provide. It ensures your database stays clean and organized.
