Agents debating text analysis

Give your analyst agents access to `analyze_sentiment` so they can challenge each other's assumptions about user tone. One agent might flag a document as critical while another verifies the sentiment score. They reach a consensus before presenting you with a final verdict. It removes the bias of relying on a single agent's interpretation.

Collaborative topic extraction

Use `extract_topics` to provide consistent data points for your agents to work from. When multiple agents look at the same topics, they can debate the implications for your project. This ensures your agents are arguing over the same facts. It turns raw information into a common ground for your multi-agent team.

Negotiating categorization results

Deploy `categorize_text` as a shared tool that agents use to settle on document labels. If an agent misclassifies a file, another agent can use the tool to correct it. This creates a self-correcting loop for your data processing. It brings human-like deliberation to your automated classification workflows.

Setup guide

Set up MeaningCloud MCP in AutoGen

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • autogen-ext[mcp] package
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install AutoGen with MCP

    Run pip install "autogen-ext[mcp]" autogen-agentchat. The MCP extension includes mcp_server_tools for stateless tool access.

  2. 2

    Fetch tools from the MCP

    Call mcp_server_tools(SseServerParams(url=...)) with your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Run your agent

    Pass the tools to AssistantAgent and call agent.run(). The agent invokes MeaningCloud tools and returns structured results.

agent.py
from autogen_ext.tools.mcp import SseServerParams, mcp_server_tools
from autogen_agentchat.agents import AssistantAgent
from autogen_ext.models.openai import OpenAIChatCompletionClient

server_params = SseServerParams(
    url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
)

tools = await mcp_server_tools(server_params)

agent = AssistantAgent(
    name="MeaningCloud_assistant",
    model_client=OpenAIChatCompletionClient(model="gpt-4o"),
    tools=tools,
)

result = await agent.run("List recent MeaningCloud data")
print(result.messages[-1].content)
