How to Use the MessageFlow MCP in Cline
Cline controls MessageFlow directly from VS Code to ship SMS, WhatsApp, and email notifications as part of your build process.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect MessageFlow MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect MessageFlow to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline executes end-to-end messaging tasks
Cline doesn't just suggest code; it runs it. You tell it to notify a user, and it calls `send_generic_message` using the correct protocol for that contact. It handles the entire lifecycle from selection to execution. If a task requires multiple steps, Cline chains them to ensure the message hits the queue.
Monitor your traffic from the IDE
Keep your terminal clean by using Cline to audit your outgoing logs. The agent uses `list_messages` to fetch recent activity and provides a summary of what actually went out. It highlights errors in the response objects. You get a clear view of your messaging performance without writing a single custom script.
Handle templates automatically with Cline
Feed your template IDs into the agent to automate content delivery. Cline calls `get_template` to verify the structure before it attempts to send anything. It prevents malformed requests by checking your template requirements first. You get consistent formatting across every channel you use.
