Connect Metabase (Business Intelligence & Analytics) MCP to VS Code Copilot
Create your Vinkius account to connect Metabase (Business Intelligence & Analytics) to VS Code Copilot and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Sync BI context across the team
Commit your `mcp.json` to the repo so everyone on your team has the same tools. Use `list_dashboards` to ensure everyone is looking at the same source of truth. It removes the friction of individual setup. Your whole engineering squad gets immediate access to the same BI environment.
Retrieve cards for faster debugging
When a bug report mentions a specific chart, use `get_card` to see the underlying query immediately. You don't have to wait for an analyst to explain the logic. It puts the answer right in your chat window. You verify the data logic against your code in seconds.
Search metadata with VS Code agents
Use `search_content` to find BI assets by name or description. It makes navigating large, messy reporting folders painless. Once found, use `list_collections` to verify the structure. You spend less time digging for reports and more time building features.
