…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect MeteoSource MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect MeteoSource to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate weather data lookups in Windsurf
Cascade uses `search_weather_places` to resolve location names into valid IDs, then pipes that data into your project files. It handles the mapping logic so your code stays clean. Once the location is set, it calls `get_point_forecast` to pull current conditions. You get the raw meteorological data formatted for your specific application needs.
Monitor API health within your IDE
Before running complex scripts, have Cascade execute `check_api_status`. It verifies the connection before your agent attempts to fetch data. This prevents runtime errors caused by service downtime. You get a clear confirmation that the MeteoSource infrastructure is ready for your requests.
Map global locations with precision
Use `get_nearest_weather_place` to find monitored coordinates near any latitude and longitude. It identifies the best station for your specific requirements. This tool ensures your weather data matches the actual location of your assets. Combine this with `get_place_timezone` to keep your event logs synced.
