How to Use the Metricool MCP in Cursor
Build social apps faster. Cursor gets live Metricool data for your code.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Metricool MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Metricool to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Live social data in Cursor agent mode
Stop using static mock data for your social dashboard projects. The Cursor agent calls `get_unified_summary` to grab real performance data during your coding session. You'll see the AI write code that actually handles live API responses. This lets you build features that reflect real-world social metrics without leaving your IDE.
Access platform analytics via Cursor
Query specific network performance with `get_twitter_analytics` or `get_linkedin_analytics` directly from your terminal or chat. The AI reads the response and updates your code logic in real time. It saves you from switching to the browser to check API payloads. You get the exact schema returned by the server while you are actively developing your integration.
Automate your social planning logic
Build automated scheduling tools using `get_social_planner` as your backend source. Your agent can iterate on your scheduling logic by checking the current plan against your code. Use `list_published_posts` to verify your code handles history correctly. It's a tighter feedback loop when your editor understands your social data structure.
