Cline executes end-to-end research tasks
Cline can scan the entire DBLP database using `search_publications` to build a list of relevant files for your project. It fetches the data, processes the JSON output, and drafts the documentation for you. If you need to analyze a specific conference, it runs `get_venue_publications` to pull the latest papers. It handles the parsing so you don't have to touch the raw XML.
Automated author profile retrieval
Tell Cline to look up a researcher, and it uses `search_authors` to disambiguate the identity. It then calls `get_author` to pull their academic history into your workspace. This is useful for verifying credentials or finding co-authors. Cline manages the tool sequence until the data is sitting in your editor's buffer.
Citation management made simple
Use `get_publication` to retrieve specific paper details by key. Cline can then format these into your README or technical report, ensuring every DOI and author list is accurate. It also uses `get_venue` to confirm conference details before adding them to your bibliography. It saves you from manual lookups during your development cycle.
