Connect Mode Analytics MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Mode Analytics to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build data tools using this MCP Server
The `list_mode_reports` tool lets Cline discover what reports are available in your target analytics space. From there, Cline pulls specific report details using `get_mode_report` to inspect the underlying structure. Cline writes the local React components or Python scripts to display this data. It handles the entire implementation, including writing tests and staging your Git commits automatically.
Audit SQL queries and definitions inside VS Code
The `list_mode_queries` tool exposes the raw SQL behind any dashboard directly to Cline. When dealing with complex metrics, Cline calls `list_mode_definitions` to retrieve the exact math behind calculated fields. This gives your coding agent full visibility into your data logic. Cline uses this context to debug broken database connections, rewrite slow queries, or generate accurate mock data for testing.
Trigger live database updates on demand
The `run_mode_report` tool allows Cline to kick off fresh data runs via this MCP Server whenever you need real-time metrics. To ensure the run completes, Cline calls `list_mode_report_runs` to track the history and status of recent executions. You don't have to leave VS Code to check if your data pipeline finished. Cline monitors the run state and updates your local workspace files the moment the new dataset lands.
