How to Use the Modusign MCP in Cline
Cline executes end-to-end document workflows by driving Modusign tools directly from your VS Code sidebar.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Modusign MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Modusign to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate contracts with Cline
You tell Cline to start a contract and it uses `create_document_from_template` to get it done. The agent handles the field mapping and creation steps automatically. It saves you from the repetitive task of filling out web forms. You see the result of the action in the task logs immediately.
Manage files using the Modusign MCP Server
Cline uses `list_folders` and `list_external_files` to map out your current document storage. It understands your file structure so you can ask it to find specific contracts. This allows the agent to organize your workflow based on your actual data. You just provide the goal and it navigates the directory for you.
Track signature status automatically
The agent runs `list_webhooks` to see if your signatures are moving along as expected. It keeps your project context updated with the latest status changes. You avoid manual polling because the agent handles the heavy lifting. It ensures you know exactly when a signature is finalized.
