Verify live Mollie payments inside VS Code Copilot

This Mollie MCP Server uses `get_payment` and `list_payments` to fetch live transaction states for your engineering team inside VS Code Copilot. When debugging a checkout bug, your developers can query the Mollie API directly from the VS Code Copilot chat panel. No one has to log into the shared Mollie merchant dashboard to verify a transaction when using VS Code Copilot. VS Code Copilot shares this Mollie MCP tool configuration across your repository, ensuring every engineer has the same debugging power. You resolve Mollie payment issues faster as a team inside VS Code Copilot.

Inspect Mollie e-commerce orders within VS Code Copilot

You query Mollie order payloads using `get_order` and `list_orders` directly from your VS Code Copilot workspace. If your fulfillment system drops a Mollie order, VS Code Copilot pulls the raw JSON to check for missing shipping parameters. You fix the underlying Mollie code bug without leaving your VS Code Copilot editor. This setup keeps your developers focused on the codebase instead of switching context away from VS Code Copilot. Your team gets instant access to Mollie order data right where they write code inside VS Code Copilot.

Audit Mollie refunds and chargebacks inside VS Code Copilot

The server calls `get_refund` and `list_chargebacks` to inspect disputed transactions directly within VS Code Copilot. When your support team flags a Mollie payment dispute, your developers can pull the chargeback details inside the VS Code Copilot editor. You write better Mollie dispute-handling code because you can see the active cases inside VS Code Copilot. VS Code Copilot uses this Mollie data to help you write solid error-handling scripts. Your team builds a more reliable Mollie integration by analyzing actual refund records inside VS Code Copilot using this active MCP connection.

Setup guide

Set up Mollie MCP in VS Code Copilot

Prerequisites

  • VS Code 1.99 or later with GitHub Copilot extension
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Open MCP configuration

Open the Command Palette (Cmd+Shift+P / Ctrl+Shift+P) and run "MCP: Add Server". Select HTTP (Streamable) as the server type. VS Code will create .vscode/mcp.json in your workspace.

  2. 2

    Add the Mollie MCP

Paste the JSON snippet shown on the right into your .vscode/mcp.json. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your endpoint token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Switch to Agent mode

Open Copilot Chat (Cmd+Shift+I / Ctrl+Shift+I) and switch to Agent mode using the dropdown. MCP tools are only available in Agent mode — they do not appear in Edit or Ask modes.

  4. 4

    Verify the connection

In the Copilot Chat input, type # to list available tools. You should see the Mollie tools listed. Try asking: "List my recent Mollie transactions" and Copilot will invoke them automatically.
