Open Claude Settings

Go to claude.ai, click your profile icon, then navigate to Customize → Connectors.

Add Custom Connector

Click the "+" button and select Add custom connector. Paste your Vinkius endpoint URL: https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com. For OAuth-protected servers, expand Advanced settings to add credentials.

Open Claude Desktop Settings

Click the menu icon at the top-left corner, go to Settings → Developer → Edit Config. This opens claude_desktop_config.json in your default text editor.

Copy the JSON snippet on the right into the mcpServers object. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your endpoint token from cloud.vinkius.com.

Restart Claude Desktop

Close and reopen the application. Claude needs a full restart to load new MCPs — refreshing a conversation is not enough.

No. This integration only reads data. You get access to tools like `list_manufacturing_orders` and `get_stock_item`, but creating records still happens in the main web interface.

Localhost connections fail in the web app. If you want to use the MCP Server in claude.ai, make sure you host it on a publicly reachable endpoint. Otherwise, stick to the native desktop application.

The connection is entirely real-time. Every time you ask your agent to run `list_stock_items`, it hits the API directly. There is no caching or delayed sync.

Your client names and invoice amounts never touch Vinkius servers. The protocol uses a V8 Isolate Sandbox with zero-trust architecture, meaning tokens authenticate directly against your endpoint. Data passes straight to your local machine.
