Write Transit Code with the Navitia MCP Server
The `get_lines` tool retrieves complete Navitia line metadata for Cline. Cline uses this Navitia tool to build custom UI components, matching colors and line codes for the Paris metro. Because Cline writes code autonomously, it queries this Navitia endpoint to populate mock databases. Cline writes accurate Navitia transit schemas directly into your VS Code workspace.
Automated Journey Testing in VS Code
The `plan_journey` tool calculates complex multimodal itineraries for Cline. Cline executes this Navitia tool to verify that your route-planning integrations return valid JSON. Automatic unit tests are drafted by Cline around the Navitia itinerary outputs. Your repository receives fully tested Navitia transit logic committed directly by the agent.
Real-Time Station Monitoring via Cline
The `get_arrivals` tool pulls live incoming Navitia services for Cline. Cline uses this Navitia MCP tool to debug your live transit dashboards. Writing a React hook that calls this Navitia tool is completely automated by Cline. Cline eliminates the guesswork when integrating live Navitia transportation feeds.
