Talk to Your Database

This toolset lets your AI client manage Ninox records for you. Tell Claude to `list_records` from your 'Customers' table and it will pull the data right into your chat. Need to fix a typo? Just ask it to `update_record` with the correct info. You can also create and delete records on the fly. Use `create_records` to add a new lead from a conversation or `delete_record` to clean up old test entries. It's like having a database assistant who knows your Ninox setup.

Inspect and Script Your Ninox MCP Server

Before you start changing data, you need to know the layout. Use `get_database_schema` to have Claude show you the exact structure of any table, including field names and types. You can also `list_databases` to see everything available in your workspace. For more complex jobs, there's `execute_ninox_script`. You can write a custom Ninox formula—for batch updates, complex lookups, anything—and have your agent run it securely. This is how you automate the tricky stuff without leaving your chat window.

Full Database Control

This MCP server gives you the fundamental database operations. You can `get_record` to pull a specific customer's details or `list_records` to see all open orders from the last week. No more manual searching in the Ninox UI. The real power comes from combining them. Find a record, ask your AI client to analyze it, then tell it to `update_record` with new information. This turns your database into a dynamic part of your workflow, not just a static storage bin.

Common questions about Ninox MCP in Claude Desktop

In the Claude Desktop app, go to Settings and add the MCP server. If you're on the web at claude.ai, paste the server URL into the Custom Connectors section. Your tools for Ninox will show up right away.
Yes. The `execute_ninox_script` tool is built for exactly that. You provide the Ninox script as a string, and your agent runs it against your database, returning the result directly in your chat.
It is. The MCP server connects using your provided credentials, and all operations are sandboxed. The server only performs the actions you explicitly ask your agent to do, like `get_record` or `update_record`.
Speed and context. You don't have to switch apps or export data. You can ask Claude a question about a customer, have it pull the data from Ninox with `get_record`, and then draft an email based on that data, all in one conversation.
Your Ninox record and schema data is only passed through the server when a tool is actively running. Vinkius uses ephemeral, zero-trust sandboxes for each request, meaning no data is stored after the operation completes. Your authentication token is encrypted and managed by Vinkius.
