The `create_signature_request` tool lets your agent initiate a complex signing workflow, passing all necessary data in one go. If the process hits a snag—say, an API timeout—the framework handles automatic retries with exponential backoff, so you don't have to write that retry logic yourself.

To check if a workflow is still running or failed, use `get_signature_request`. This gives the current status of the entire signing session. You can also list all sessions with `list_signature_requests` to get an overall view. This robust monitoring means your CLI script always knows whether it needs to wait, retry, or report a failure.

Manage Signers and Contacts

You can manage the people involved by listing all signers using `list_signers` for any given request. Before that, make sure your system has the correct contact details; use `create_contact` or `list_contacts`. Set up Sproof MCP in Mastra AI

Prerequisites

  • Node.js 18+ and a TypeScript project
  • @mastra/mcp + @mastra/core packages
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token

    Run npm install @mastra/mcp @mastra/core plus your preferred model provider (e.g. @ai-sdk/openai).

    Create an MCPClient with your Vinkius endpoint as a URL object. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

    Discover and inject tools

    Call mcpClient.listTools() and spread the result into your agent's tools object. All Sproof tools become native Mastra tools.

    Swap openai("gpt-4o") for any AI SDK-compatible provider. Call agent.generate() and the agent routes tool calls through MCP automatically.
