Key Capabilities

Scripted Contact and Company Management

Write a script that needs to onboard multiple leads? You can pipe lists of company names into the endpoint. The agent handles calling `list_companies` first, then uses `get_company_details` for each one. After validation, it registers new contacts using `create_contact`. This makes perfect sense in a CI/CD pipeline where you need to bulk-process data without any GUI overhead.

Bulk Project and Task Status Checks

Need to run a nightly report on project status? Your shell script calls `list_projects` for all active accounts. For each one, it fetches the full scope using `get_project_details`, then lists every pending item with `list_tasks`. The output is clean JSON that you can pipe into another system or use in a database update cron job.

Audit Trail for Sales and Scope Creep

You can build an audit tool that checks sales records against actual work. Run `list_deals` to get potential revenue, then cross-reference the client using `get_contact_details`. You can even check if billing is overdue by running `list_invoices`. This makes it easy to automate compliance checks and flag discrepancies in your deployment scripts.

Common questions about SuiteDash MCP in Claude Code

You use the dedicated `claude mcp add` command. You pass the transport details, scope, and header information first. The connection is then stored in your local `~/.claude.json` file for repeatable runs.
Yes. You can script the process: pull a list of companies with `list_companies`, then loop through them, calling `get_company_details` and finally running `create_contact` for any missing records.
For billing, use `list_invoices`. If you're tracking revenue against a deal, start with `list_deals` and combine that output with the invoice list to get a clear picture.
No. This whole setup is designed for the terminal. You can run it headless, inside Docker containers or GitHub Actions—it never needs a graphical interface.
The `get_schema_metadata` tool is exactly for this. You can script calls to check field definitions before running complex data validation routines.
