Automating Towio Project Reports with Cline
Use `list_projects` to fetch every active towio project ID. Then, Cline can write a component that iterates over those IDs and pulls associated data using the API client. It's not just fetching; it's building the output file for you. Tell Cline: 'Build me a report of all current projects.' It handles the boilerplate code, makes the necessary calls, stages the final report, and shows you the diff.
Building Employee Dashboards in Cline
Cline uses `list_employees` to pull the raw company personnel data from Towio. You can then tell it: 'Filter this list for active managers.' It writes the necessary code, runs the filter, and generates a clean, structured component using that employee data. This eliminates manual scripting time. Cline does the dirty work of API interaction, data manipulation, and file creation all in one go.
Task Status Workflow with MCP Server
To audit job status, use `list_tasks` to pull every active towio task record. Cline takes that raw JSON output and writes a function to categorize tasks by urgency or status. The resulting code is ready to run in your local environment. It’s end-to-end execution: you define the input (the list of tasks), it defines the process, and it delivers the functional output.
