Generate Multimodal Itinerary Components
Cline uses `get_journey_plan` to return complete trip structures—departure times, total duration, number of changes, and mode details for legs. You can write code that accepts the API output and auto-generates a full journey component with minimal effort. This capability lets you build robust travel planning UIs that pull live route data directly from the MCP Server.
Write Real-Time Dashboard Widgets
Need a widget showing current departures? Use `get_bus_departures` or `get_rail_arrivals` to fetch structured lists of services leaving or arriving at a specified stop. You write the fetching logic, and Cline handles the data parsing and display structure. This makes building live status dashboards for transit hubs simple and reliable.
Build Station Information Retrieval Tools
The `get_station_info` tool returns a comprehensive JSON object containing facility details, staff hours, and location metadata. You can write specific functions that query this data to populate site maps or accessibility checklists. This is useful for building internal tools that check station readiness before deployment.
