To get started, you run `get_stores` to pull all external store IDs associated with your account. This is the required input for almost every other operation. Once you have an ID, use `get_store` to verify delivery settings or check if a specific location is currently operational.

Accept and manage order preparation stages.

When an order comes in, first call `accept_order` to confirm preparation and notify the customer. Next, use `mark_order_prep_started` to update the status to 'PREPARING'. Finally, you run `mark_order_ready` when it's packaged for pickup. This sequence handles the crucial steps between accepting the order and getting ready for the courier.

Rejecting or rejecting an incoming job.

If you can't fulfill a pending job, use `reject_order`. You must provide a reason code—like 'item_unavailable' or 'too_busy'—and the customer is automatically refunded. This tool helps manage platform visibility. Too many rejections and your restaurant rating takes a hit.

Set up Uber Eats MCP in Claude Code

Prerequisites

  • Claude Code CLI installed (npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token

    Open your terminal and run the command shown on the right. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your endpoint token from cloud.vinkius.com. Use --scope user to make it available across all projects.

    Verify the connection

    Start a Claude Code session and type /mcp to list connected servers. You should see uber-eats-mcp with a green status indicator.
