Cline and the MCP Server

Write a script that builds a full performance dashboard. You use `instructor_courses` to fetch all class details, then pipe those IDs into calls using `instructor_reviews`. Cline handles fetching the data, writing the component file, and showing you the diff. No hand-holding required; it's end-to-end task execution straight from your terminal.

Automating Udemy Review Aggregation with Cline

Need to scrape reviews for a list of courses? Use `course_reviews` and feed the IDs into a Python script. Cline writes the logic, executes the API calls in bulk, and stages a commit containing all the clean review data. This bypasses manual copy-pasting entirely.

Creating Instructor Resource Directories

If you're building internal tools for instructors, use `instructor_qa` and `instructor_messages`. Cline can fetch the questions and messages into a structured JSON file, complete with documentation comments. It turns raw API data into usable code assets.

Common questions about Udemy MCP in Cline

You use `instructor_courses` to get the foundational list of classes. Then, you let Cline write the surrounding React or Vue component structure and populate it with data retrieved from related tools like `instructor_reviews`.
Yes. The `instructor_courses` tool is exactly what you need for this. You tell Cline to fetch the data, and it writes the necessary code to handle the API response.
This MCP Server touches Course IDs, instructor messages, QA questions, and course review text. When running tasks in Cline, you own the resulting local files containing this structured data.
It does. The `instructor_courses` tool is your starting point. You can script a full workflow to fetch the details and then iterate over those IDs to gather associated data.
Use `instructor_qa`. Write a function that calls this tool, processes the resulting list of Q&A records, and writes them into an easily queryable database schema.
