Generate user counts using the MCP Server.
Need to validate a function that calculates active users? The AI can call the `users` tool and inject the live count directly into your Python or JavaScript code. You get working context, not mock stubs. The resulting code snippet uses the real API response from Umami Cloud's MCP Server. This means you're testing against actual data, which is a huge time saver when building services around analytics.
Pull device metrics with Umami Cloud.
Building a client-side feature that needs to account for OS differences? The `websites` tool delivers detailed context: browser, OS, and device type. You can write code that dynamically handles these variables. The AI will generate the necessary API calls using the live data from Umami Cloud. This means your code is immediately ready for integration because it's built around real-world traffic metrics.
Integrate analytics via Cursor’s MCP Server.
To use this server, you add the definition to `.cursor/mcp.json` in your project root or globally. Once set up, enabling Agent mode lets the AI see the tool definitions. The agent then uses these tools to gather data and write code that incorporates that live context. It's a tight loop: coding, calling tools, getting real data, writing more code.
