Querying United Airlines Data in Code
Writing a script that needs current flight info? Use `get_flight_status` to pull the real-time status of any specific United Airlines flight. The AI agent calls this tool, and you get live data injected right into your function. Need historical context? You can use `get_flight_history` within your code to analyze past performance. This lets you build logic around whether a flight was delayed or cancelled on a specified date.
Building United Airlines Network Logic
Your app needs to validate routes? Use `get_route`. It checks if United flies between two specific IATA codes and tells you about direct connections. The agent handles the API call, so your code stays clean. If you're mapping a whole system, run `get_airline_routes` to get every single pair of airports that United serves. This data is perfect for building network graph visualizations.
Handling Airport Operations with MCP Server
Need airport metadata? The `get_airport_info` tool lets you pull details—like coordinates and timezones—for any major United Airlines stop. This data is immediately available for use in your code. For tracking movements, the agent can call `get_arrivals` or `get_departures`. You specify the airport and date, and the resulting array of flight objects goes straight into your project context.
