Connect Unkey API Management MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Unkey API Management to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Programmatically manage API Keys
You tell Cline to write a user onboarding component. It immediately writes the function, using `create_api_key` to generate credentials and including necessary error handling for failure cases. The resulting code is ready to stage right away. If you need to secure a feature by removing old access, it drafts the required service layer logic that calls `revoke_api_key`. It'll even write tests proving the revocation works.
Implement validation and security checks
Write a utility function that requires API key authentication. Cline uses `verify_api_key` to check validity in real-time, writing the necessary type-safe code for you. It ensures your component fails fast if the key is invalid. Need to audit what keys exist before deploying? Cline generates a script using `list_api_keys` and integrates it into your build process as a pre-check.
Create reports from usage data
Tell the agent, "Write a dashboard component showing API key usage." Cline writes the necessary fetching logic that calls `get_verification_analytics`. It structures the raw metrics into usable JSON for your front end. It'll also build out project scaffolding by calling `list_apis` to ensure all relevant endpoints are documented and imported correctly in the new component.
