Connect USPS Developer Portal MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect USPS Developer Portal to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Determine Shipping Costs
Need to know how much a package costs? Cascade handles both domestic and international calculations. You just give it the dimensions and destination; the agent runs `calculate_domestic_rate` or `calculate_international_rate`. It returns the final cost so you can move on.
Validate Shipping Destinations
Before calculating anything, make sure the address is real. The tool lets you verify and standardize a US street address using `verify_usps_address`, or find the specific ZIP code for an entire city/state combo via `lookup_usps_city_state`. This saves time on bad data.
Track and Estimate Deliveries
Windsurf can handle two kinds of tracking. First, run `track_usps_package` with a simple number to get status updates. For more depth, use `track_usps_package_advanced` for detailed movements. It also runs `get_delivery_commitments` so you know when the package is actually supposed to arrive.
