Connect Vanta MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Vanta to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build a Compliance Dashboard using MCP Server
`vanta_compliance_status` pulls the current compliance dashboard data directly into your project scope. You get pass rates per framework, critical alerts, and audit readiness scores without leaving VS Code. Since Cline writes code, you can immediately take this structured output and build a visualization component or write unit tests against it. No manual copy-pasting.
Audit Endpoint Status with Cline
`vanta_list_computers` lists all monitored devices—laptops, desktops—providing OS version, encryption status, antivirus info, and compliance state. This output is perfect for scripting. You can pipe this data directly into a file or a test suite, identifying non-compliant machines programmatically before running an actual audit.
Check Risk Register Details via MCP Server
`vanta_list_risks` generates the full risk register. It provides identified security risks along with impact scores, likelihood levels, and assigned controls. Cline lets you process this data: identify all high-risk areas (Impact 4 or 5) and automatically create tickets in your project management system for remediation.
