How to Use the Vapi MCP in Google ADK
Build enterprise agents on Google Cloud with the Google ADK and Vapi.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Vapi MCP to Google ADK
Create your Vinkius account to connect Vapi to Google ADK and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Managing Call Personas with the MCP Server
You define new Voice AI assistant personas using `create_assistant`, specifying everything from the transcriber to the voice model. This ensures your Google ADK agent behaves exactly as you want it to. You can keep things current by calling `update_assistant` when a persona needs minor tweaks or changes.
Retrieving Call Details for Google ADK
The `get_call_details` tool retrieves full transcripts, metrics, and specific data points for any given call. Since you're working with BigQuery, this structured output integrates perfectly. Need a list of all agents? Use `list_assistants` to see every Voice AI persona configured in Vapi.
Starting Web and Phone Calls via MCP Server
You can start an outbound phone call using `create_phone_call`, supplying the number ID and customer details. It's straightforward. For web-based interactions, `create_web_call` returns a complete configuration package you need to initiate the virtual meeting.
