How to Use the Verba MCP in Cline
Build, test, and deploy knowledge systems with Verba using Cline's autonomous coding agent.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Verba MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Verba to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Ingest and Manage Source Documents
The `add_knowledge_document` tool lets your agent ingest new documentation directly. You feed it the document content alongside optional metadata JSON to index it. You can also use `delete_knowledge_document`. Remember, this action is irreversible; you're permanently removing a knowledge asset from the base.
Query and Reference Knowledge
Run `perform_rag_query` to get summarized answers with citations. Your agent can treat this like calling an API endpoint that understands your proprietary documents. For development checks, `get_document_details` retrieves the full content and metadata of any document ID you provide.
Audit and Inspect System State
`list_knowledge_documents` gives a clear rundown of every file indexed in Verba. This is useful for checking scope before an operation. Need to know the current parameters? `get_system_config` pulls the entire operational configuration from the MCP Server.
