Connect Videco MCP to OpenAI Agents SDK
Create your Vinkius account to connect Videco to OpenAI Agents SDK and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Manage Video Content Lifecycle
Your agent uses `list_videos` and `get_video` to check every existing video record. It can also call `check_videco_status` first, making sure the connection is solid before doing anything else. It sends a request via `create_video` when you need a personalized asset, or pulls detailed performance metrics using `get_video_analytics`.
Create and Track Campaigns
Need to launch something? You'll call `list_campaigns` to see what’s running. Then, use `create_campaign` to set up a new one from scratch. Don't forget that you can also fetch details on any campaign using the `get_campaign` tool. This keeps all your marketing efforts visible. The system lets you run multiple campaigns and check their status with `list_campaigns`.
Capture and View Leads
The agent pulls lead data directly by calling `list_leads`. This gives a clean list of every contact record. You can then drill down into specifics for any single person using `get_lead`. This makes your marketing actions immediately actionable. The system doesn't just store leads; it lets you interact with them through your agent.

-
openai-agentspackage (pip install openai-agents) - Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
- 1
Install the SDK
Run
pip install openai-agentsto install the OpenAI Agents SDK. The MCP integration is built-in — no extra dependencies needed. - 2

Create your Agent
Pass the MCP to
Agent(mcp_servers=[server]). The agent receives Videco tools as native definitions — JSON schemas resolve automatically. - 4
Run the agent
Call
Runner.run(agent, prompt)to execute. The agent invokes the appropriate Videco tools and returns structured results. Copy the full example on the right to get started.
import asyncio
from agents import Agent, Runner
from agents.mcp import MCPServerSse
async def main():
async with MCPServerSse(
url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
) as server:
agent = Agent(
name="Videco Agent",
instructions="You have access to Videco tools.",
mcp_servers=[server],
)
