Building Forecast Modules with Cline
Cline lets you fetch a 16-day daily forecast using `get_daily_forecast`, then pull more granular details by calling `get_hourly_forecast`. This is perfect for building complex components that show long-term trends. You can structure your component to take input from the coordinates and run these API calls in sequence, making the whole process automated.
Monitoring Conditions via MCP Server
Write a script that checks current conditions using `get_current_weather` based on a location. Next, you can grab air quality data with `get_current_airquality`, pulling metrics like SO2 and NO2 into your dashboard component. Need to know about severe weather? Use the `get_alerts` tool; it accepts multiple identifiers for accurate targeting.
Historical Data Visualization for Cline
The server offers historical data you can use right in your project. For daily records, run `get_daily_history`, feeding it lat/lon and date ranges. You'll also get sub-hourly history via `get_subhourly_history`. These tools let you write functions that pull past weather patterns to validate current predictions.
