Scrape site structure for code inputs.
Need to find all endpoints or links on a documentation site? Run `list_links` to pull every internal hyperlink from a source page. This gives you a predictable list of URLs that share the same hostname, perfect for building navigation components. You can then use this link list directly in your coding workflow and feed it into another MCP Server for data ingestion.
Ingest full web content into files.
The `read` tool fetches the main article body from any public page, cleaning out junk HTML and returning clean Markdown. This means you can write a script that pulls blog posts into markdown files for documentation generation. If you're tackling several pages at once—say, 10 different product manuals—use `batch_read`. It fetches up to 10 URLs in parallel, making your data ingestion code much faster.
Build metadata-driven components.
When you need structured information for a dashboard component, the `extract` tool is what you use. It returns title, description, OG tags, and author info—all useful fields for generating rich data cards. For initial reconnaissance on a new site, run `crawl`. This maps out up to 10 pages from a starting URL, letting your agent understand the overall scope of the content before you write any code.
