Run Automated Blockchain Checks with Wemix Explorer MCP Server

Use your agent in a CI/CD pipeline to validate network state. You can write a headless job that calls `list_blocks` and asserts that the most recent block exists and has valid metadata. This is perfect for pre-deployment checks, ensuring required data types are present before deployment.

Scripting Account Transfers in Claude Code

Need to process thousands of records? Write a shell script that iterates over recent transactions using `list_extrinsics`. For each one, you can use `get_account_info` to pull associated metadata. Claude Code pipes this output directly into other tools or logging mechanisms, making it ideal for background job processing.

Token Monitoring with Wemix Explorer in Claude Code

Set up cron jobs that periodically check the network. A simple script can call `list_tokens` and compare the output against a baseline file, alerting you if any token ID is missing or changed. This level of continuous monitoring requires the direct, terminal access provided by Claude Code.

Setup guide

Set up Wemix Explorer MCP in Claude Code

Prerequisites

  • Claude Code CLI installed (npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Run the add command

Open your terminal and run the command shown on the right. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your endpoint token from cloud.vinkius.com. Use --scope user to make it available across all projects.

  2. 2

    Verify the connection

Start a Claude Code session and type /mcp to list connected servers. You should see wemix-explorer-mcp with a green status indicator.

  3. 3

    Start using tools

Ask Claude Code something like "Check my latest Wemix Explorer transactions." It will automatically discover and invoke the available Wemix Explorer tools.

Terminal
claude mcp add --transport http wemix-explorer-mcp https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp

Common questions about Wemix Explorer MCP in Claude Code

You pass a command-line instruction like: `claude mcp run wemix-explorer --list-blocks`. The agent executes the server call, pipes the JSON output to your shell script for further processing.
Yes. You can build a pipeline that calls `get_block`, then extracts specific event data using `list_events`, and finally outputs only the relevant IDs for database ingestion.
The MCP Server touches blockchain data types, specifically transaction metadata and account addresses. Since execution is headless and terminal-only, it’s designed to fit into secure, isolated CI/CD environments.
It generates standard stdout or stderr streams—raw text, JSON objects, or formatted logs. This makes the output trivial to capture, parse, and feed into other shell utilities.
It's highly reliable because it operates outside of a GUI. It runs against the raw network endpoint via HTTP transport, making it suitable for mission-critical automation.
