Generate Inventory Reports with the MCP Server
You tell Cline to 'Build a dashboard showing low stock items.' It handles the whole stack: it uses `list_inventory_items` to get all assets, then runs a filter against `search_inventory` based on minimum thresholds. Cline doesn't just talk about it; it writes the necessary component code and imports the data structure for you. You see the diff and stage your commit.
Automate Order Processing using Cline
Need a script that validates sales orders? Use `list_orders` to pull raw data, then use `get_order` on specific IDs for deep validation. If you're building an API endpoint, Cline writes the full function signature and test suite around it. It’s end-to-end task execution. Tell it: 'Write a Python class that processes new sales orders.' Cline handles the data fetching from `list_orders` into runnable code.
Model Financial Data with Wherefour and the MCP Server
Writing finance logic is tough, but Cline makes it doable. You can write a script that iterates through all customer invoices (`list_invoices`) and compares them against recent purchasing records using `list_purchases`. Cline generates the code to perform this comparison, handles potential API data types, and lets you run tests right in your IDE context before committing any changes.
