…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Widen (Acquia DAM) MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Widen (Acquia DAM) to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Write dynamic code that references Widen (Acquia DAM) assets.
Your agent mode calls `get_asset_details` and injects the live metadata directly into your file. You're not working with stubs; you're writing real code using actual asset properties. If you need to build a component that displays an asset thumbnail, the AI client can use this data—like the CDN link or dimensions—right in the function body you're writing.
Manage DAM content structure within your project.
Need to check if a specific user has permission? The MCP Server exposes `list_account_users` so you can query account details and pass that context into your code logic. This makes your application's access checks much tighter. It also lets you list `list_global_categories` and `list_saved_collections`, allowing your code to build out directory structures based on the DAM hierarchy.
Build asset management functions using MCP Server.
If you're writing a script to clean up old assets, your agent can execute `delete_media_asset`. It handles the irreversible deletion process and updates the local state of your code as if it succeeded. You can also use tools like `list_collection_assets` to get a list of contents before you write logic that processes or deletes them.
