Query worker profiles and job openings
Write a component that needs employee details? Start by calling `get_worker` to fetch the full profile for one person. You can then use `list_workers` with specific search parameters (like an ID) to build out lists of multiple employees. If you're building a dashboard, you can combine this effort with listing open jobs using `list_job_requisitions`. Cline handles running the data fetching and generating the necessary component code.
Map organizational charts for development
Need to model complex relationships? Run `list_supervisory_orgs` to get structured org names, managers, and headcounts. You can pair this with general resource queries using `query_resource` to gather related cost centers or business units. Cline writes the boilerplate code for you; it generates functions that accept these API results and structure them into TypeScript interfaces.
Process core HR data flows
Need a script to check payroll compliance? You can write logic that calls `get_payroll_results` alongside checking time off via `get_time_off_balances`. The resulting code will be clean, typed, and ready for testing. Cline doesn't just fetch data; it creates the file structure—the API wrapper, the unit tests, and the usage example—so you can stage a commit immediately.
