Generating Code from Quotes

Need a script that builds out an estimate? Tell the AI to use `create_quote`. The agent calls this MCP tool, getting the necessary contact ID and line items. It then injects those live data variables straight into your code editor. This is huge: you don't write stubs or mock API responses. Your generated working code uses real Wuro data context because of the Agent mode.

Accessing Customer Records

If a function needs to validate contact details, just let your AI client call `get_contact`. The agent executes this tool and pulls the live record. That output is then available in your code snippet. You can use this context immediately to build validation logic or populate data structures without leaving Cursor.

Listing Products Catalog

Building a product management feature? The `list_products` tool lets the agent pull every item from your Wuro catalog. This list gets injected directly into your project scope. You can then loop over that live array of products in your TypeScript or Python code, making sure your application logic is always up-to-date.

  2. 2

    Add the Wuro MCP

  3. 3

    Enable Agent mode

Open Composer (Cmd+I / Ctrl+I) and switch to Agent mode using the dropdown at the top. MCP tools are only available in Agent mode.

  4. 4

    Verify the connection

Ask Cursor something like "List my recent Wuro transactions." If the MCP tools are loaded correctly, Cursor will call the Wuro tools automatically. You can also check Settings → MCP for a green status indicator.

Common questions about Wuro MCP in Cursor

You set up the MCP Server connection in `.cursor/mcp.json`. Then, when you're writing code, simply prompt your AI client to perform a billing action, and it handles the tool invocation.
Absolutely. The agent can run `list_invoices` through the MCP Server connection. It grabs all the data into the current scope, letting you write code that processes every single billing record.
It handles core business records for Wuro: contacts, invoices, quotes, and product listings. The Agent mode allows your client to write code that interacts with these specific structured types.
Yes. You define the server connection in a project-scoped JSON file, keeping the configuration tied directly to your repository and ensuring focused access for development.
The MCP Server touches structured business records (contacts, invoices, etc.). Because the tooling is configured within your local `.cursor/mcp.json` file, you maintain control over how that sensitive billing data is accessed.
