Cline: Execute Complex SQL Queries

Need to run a batch of complex queries? Use `execute_sql` to fire off single or multiple SQL statements directly. Cline sends the results back as structured data, letting you immediately process it in your code.

Cline: Resource Key Generation

Writing scripts that manage access is a breeze. You can use `create_user_api_key` to generate a new user key right into your script. If you're cleaning up old credentials, `delete_user_api_keys` handles the bulk deletion by ID.

Cline: Organization and Project Setup

Setting up a whole environment can be scripted. Start by running `create_organization` to initialize the container account. Then, you call `create_project` to define the workspace for your new application component.

Common questions about Xata MCP in Cline

Cline makes deployment visible. You can use `list_regions` to see all available geographical regions. This lets you hardcode the correct endpoint into your deployment script.
You simply run `list_branches` within a project scope. It outputs every branch name, which lets you loop through them in your code for testing or migration.
Use `list_organization_members` first to pull a list of current users. Then, incorporate `remove_organization_member` into your script to programmatically clean up old accounts.
Yes. You can call `get_organization` to pull all detailed information about a specific organization ID, confirming its current state in your script's output.
The server touches API keys. You can use `create_org_api_key` to programmatically generate a new organization-scoped API key, which you then store in your script's secrets.
