How to Use the Yousign MCP in Google ADK
Build enterprise agents with Google ADK for managing signatures on Yousign.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Yousign MCP to Google ADK
Create your Vinkius account to connect Yousign to Google ADK and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Create Signatures via MCP Server
Start a new signature workflow by calling `create_request`, which sets up the initial draft request and gives you an ID. You can then expand that job using `add_signer` to include specific signers' contact information. Later, if you need to confirm what documents were attached, run `list_documents` against the request ID.
Manage Request Status with Google ADK
The `get_request` tool provides comprehensive status and details for a single signature job. It's your main point of reference when tracking progress. If you need to audit all existing jobs, the `list_requests` function pulls every record in the Yousign organization.
Control Signature Lifecycle via MCP Server
The `activate_request` tool sends out the necessary email notifications that kick off the signing process for all participants. This is how you move from draft to active. Conversely, if a request needs to be stopped, `cancel_request` lets you permanently shut down the job using its ID.
Set up Yousign MCP in Google ADK
Prerequisites
- Python 3.10+ installed
-
google-adkpackage (pip install google-adk) - Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
- 1
Install Google ADK
Run
pip install google-adkto install the Agent Development Kit. MCP support is included via theMcpToolsetclass. - 2
Connect via SSE transport
Use
McpToolset.from_server()withSseServerParamspointing to your Vinkius endpoint. Replace[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]with your token from cloud.vinkius.com. - 3
Create an LlmAgent
Pass the returned
mcp_toolslist directly toLlmAgent(tools=mcp_tools). The ADK maps each MCP tool to a native Gemini function call — no manual schema definitions required. - 4
Run with any Gemini model
The agent works with any Gemini model (
gemini-2.0-flash,gemini-2.5-pro, etc.). Copy the full example on the right to get started with Yousign tools in your ADK agent.
from google.adk.agents import LlmAgent
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_toolset import McpToolset
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_session_manager import SseServerParams
# Connect to the MCP via SSE
mcp_tools, exit_stack = await McpToolset.from_server(
connection_params=SseServerParams(
url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
)
)
# Create your agent with auto-discovered tools
agent = LlmAgent(
name="Yousign_agent",
model="gemini-2.0-flash",
instruction="You have access to Yousign tools via MCP.",
