Debating visitor intent with the MCP Server.

You can set up a 'Lead Scoring Agent' that calls `get_user_details`. Another agent, the 'Content Agent', then uses `list_products` to check for relevant resources. The agents debate which product is the best fit. This consensus-driven process gives you a higher confidence score on who needs to be contacted and why.

Managing system state with Zengain and AutoGen.

A 'Compliance Agent' can call `list_webhooks` to ensure all required endpoints are configured. Then, the 'Workflow Agent' calls `get_analytics_summary` to check if the current activity levels justify a webhook change. The negotiation between these agents ensures that changes are both compliant and strategically sound.

Analyzing user journeys using Zengain’s MCP Server.

Assign one agent to track all events via `list_events`, while another agent uses `get_product` details. They argue about the sequence: did they see the product page *before* or *after* submitting a tracking event? This multi-perspective review helps pinpoint the true path of high-intent visitors.

Setup guide

Set up Zengain MCP in AutoGen

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • autogen-ext[mcp] package
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install AutoGen with MCP

    Run pip install "autogen-ext[mcp]" autogen-agentchat. The MCP extension includes mcp_server_tools for stateless tool access.

  2. 2

    Fetch tools from the MCP

    Call mcp_server_tools(SseServerParams(url=...)) with your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Run your agent

    Pass the tools to AssistantAgent and call agent.run(). The agent invokes Zengain tools and returns structured results.

agent.py
from autogen_ext.tools.mcp import SseServerParams, mcp_server_tools
from autogen_agentchat.agents import AssistantAgent
from autogen_ext.models.openai import OpenAIChatCompletionClient

server_params = SseServerParams(
    url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
)

tools = await mcp_server_tools(server_params)

agent = AssistantAgent(
    name="Zengain_assistant",
    model_client=OpenAIChatCompletionClient(model="gpt-4o"),
    tools=tools,
)

result = await agent.run("List recent Zengain data")
print(result.messages[-1].content)

Common questions about Zengain MCP in AutoGen

You can run a deliberation where one agent pulls user data (`get_user_details`) and another checks the current health score. They argue over whether the lead is worth calling, converging on the final recommendation.
Yes. You pass the tools list to the AssistantAgent constructor. The agents treat the tool calls like any other piece of information they debate and decide upon.
The server handles user identifiers (via `list_users` and `get_user_details`) as well as behavioral analytics. The agents can be programmed to flag any sensitive PII found during the process.
You can use a 'Product Oversight Agent' that calls `list_products` and monitors for updates, ensuring all agents are working with the current data set.
An agent can call `list_webhooks` to verify connectivity. If a webhook fails, another agent can then use `track_event` to simulate the expected data flow and confirm the issue.
