How to Use the Zoho Invoice MCP in Cursor
Write code that talks to Zoho Invoice directly inside Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Zoho Invoice MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Zoho Invoice to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate live invoices using the MCP Server
Want to write a script that kicks off billing? Call `create_new_invoice` and pass in the required JSON body. The agent executes this call, giving you a real API response—not just mock data—that you can immediately use in your function. This means your code is always working with live context from Zoho Invoice. You write the structure; the MCP Server fills it with actual billing records.
Fetch customer lists within Cursor
When you need a list of customers, use `list_invoice_contacts`. The agent calls this tool and injects the resulting contact array directly into your code block. You can then loop through those contacts to validate emails or IDs. This eliminates manual data fetching. Instead of stubbing out a customer list, your function uses real-time Zoho Invoice data right where you're coding.
Retrieve billing details with Cursor
Need specific payment info? Use `get_invoice_details` and provide the invoice ID. The agent fetches the record, giving your code all necessary fields like amounts due or dates. This live data makes your application much more accurate. This capability is ideal for writing internal tooling that needs to verify a single piece of financial information before proceeding.
