  Does this MCP replace the Acuity dashboard?

  No. It gives your agent the ability to talk to the dashboard's data. You still use Acuity for the actual booking, but your agent handles the complex interactions you used to do manually.

  Yes. You can ask the agent to check real-time availability for specific appointment types or calendars, making sure you only see relevant open slots.

  What kind of data can I retrieve about past appointments?

  The MCP can list all upcoming and historical appointments, and it retrieves detailed metadata for every client booking, giving you a full audit trail.

  No. It works for managing both individual schedules and complex team operations, allowing operations managers to verify bookings across multiple calendars.

  How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?

  You simply tell your agent to cancel or reschedule an appointment, providing the necessary details. The agent handles the API call to update your schedule.

  Where do I find my Acuity User ID and API Key?

  Log in to your Acuity Scheduling account, go to Settings > Integrations > API, and you will find both there. Copy and paste them into the fields below.

  Can the agent check real-time availability?

  Yes. Use the get_availability capability providing the Appointment Type ID and the target month. Your agent will return all open slots instantly.

  Is it possible to reschedule an existing appointment?

  Yes. The reschedule_appointment capability allows your agent to move an existing booking to a new datetime using the original Appointment ID.
