  How do I use this IoTeX MCP?

  You connect it to an MCP-compatible client like Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf. Once connected, you can simply ask your agent to fetch IoTeX data using natural language.

  Do I need an IoTeX API key?

  It is optional. You can enter your own IoTeX API key to access higher rate limits for your queries.

  Which tokens can I query?

  The MCP supports querying metadata and holder information for XRC20 and XRC721 tokens.

  Can I check transaction history?

  Yes. You can use the capabilities to get specific transaction details by hash or view all actions associated with a specific account.

  Is this data real-time?

  Yes. The MCP connects to the IoTeX Block Explorer API to provide live network data, including recent actions and current balances.

  How can I see the transaction history for a specific IoTeX address?

  You can use the get_account_actions capability. Simply provide the IoTeX address, and the agent will return a list of recent actions (transactions) associated with that account.

  Yes! Use the get_block_by_height capability and provide the numeric height. The agent will fetch the full block details including hash, timestamp, and transaction count.
