  How do I connect my Daftra account?

  You connect via Vinkius by providing your Daftra API Key and your specific portal Subdomain. Once authorized, the MCP is ready to use in your AI client.

  Which AI clients can I use with this MCP?

  You can use this MCP with any compatible client, including Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and VS Code.

  Can I add new clients using my AI agent?

  Yes. The create_client capability allows your agent to add new client records directly to your Daftra database.

  Is my data secure?

  Vinkius manages your credentials and hosting, ensuring a secure connection between your AI client and the Daftra API.

  Can I see specific line items on an invoice?

  Yes. The get_invoice_details capability provides a full breakdown, including line items, taxes, and payment history.

  How do I get a Daftra API Key?

  Log in to your Daftra account, navigate to Settings > API, and you will find your API Key there. You will also need your account subdomain.

  What is the subdomain?

  It is the first part of your Daftra URL. For example, if you access Daftra at 'mycompany.daftra.com', your subdomain is 'mycompany'.

  Can the agent create new invoices?

  Currently, this integration focuses on creating client profiles and listing existing invoices, estimates, and expenses. Full invoice creation is currently managed via the Daftra dashboard.
