  What credentials do I need for this MCP?

  You need a Client ID and Client Secret from the Rockwell Experience API program. These are entered into the MCP credentials on Vinkius.

  The catalog includes the full Rockwell universe, such as ControlLogix, PowerFlex, PanelView, and Guardmaster products.

  Can I find system integrators through this capability?

  Yes, the list_partners capability allows you to browse the official partner directory, including System Integrators and distributors.

  How does the authentication work?

  The gateway uses OAuth 2.0 client credentials. Vinkius manages the connection, and the gateway validates your credentials on every call.

  Does this provide documentation?

  Yes, the search_catalog capability returns matched products along with downloads and documentation like manuals and firmware.

  How do I get the Client ID/Secret?

  Register your application for the Rockwell Experience APIs (via the Rockwell Automation Developer program / FactoryTalk Hub). After approval you receive a client key (ID) and secret pair that this MCP sends as HTTP Basic credentials on every gateway call.

• 07

  I get 'Invalid client id or secret'. what does it mean?

  The gateway's OAuth 2.0 policy rejected your credentials: either the key/secret pair is wrong, or your app registration isn't approved/active for the requested product. Verify both in your Rockwell Developer account.
