  How do I connect Sift to my AI client?

  You subscribe to the MCP on Vinkius and provide your Sift API credentials. Once connected, you can use it in any compatible client like Claude or Cursor.

  Can I block users through this MCP?

  Yes. You can use the apply_user_decision capability to execute manual decisions like blocking a user through your agent.

  What kind of data can I report to Sift?

  You can report chargeback events or log custom behavioral events like logins and transactions using the available capabilities.

  Do I need to use the Sift dashboard to see user history?

  No. You can use the agent to list decision histories and fraud labels for any user directly in your chat interface.

  Is this MCP compatible with Cursor or VS Code?

  Yes. This MCP works with any MCP-compatible client, including Cursor, Windsurf, and VS Code.

  Can I block a fraudulent user through the agent?

  Yes! Use the apply_user_decision capability with the user's ID and the appropriate decision ID (like block_user). The action will be applied in Sift immediately.

  Use the get_user_fraud_score capability with the customer's unique ID. Your agent will fetch the latest risk score generated by Sift's machine learning models.
