  How do I connect this MCP to my AI client?

  You subscribe to the MCP through Vinkius and then connect your client, such as Claude or Cursor, using the provided connection details. Vinkius handles the hosting and credentials for you.

  You will need your Meta Access Token, your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) ID, and your Phone Number ID to establish the connection.

  Can I send regular text messages?

  Yes, you can send direct text messages, but this typically requires an active customer service window to be open with the user.

  Do I still need to use the Meta dashboard?

  While you can still use it, this MCP allows you to perform most tasks like sending templates, managing profiles, and deleting templates directly through your AI agent.

  Can the AI manage my message templates?

  Yes, your agent can list all existing templates and delete any that are no longer needed.

  How do I find my Phone Number ID and WABA ID?

  Log in to your Meta App Dashboard, select your app, and navigate to WhatsApp > Getting Started. You will find both IDs and your Access Token there.

  Can I send messages to any WhatsApp user?

  You can send pre-approved templates at any time. However, to send free-text messages, the user must have interacted with your business in the last 24 hours.

  What happens if a message template is not approved?

  Unapproved templates cannot be sent via the API. You can check the status of your templates using the list_message_templates capability to verify their readiness.
